| ): just finished my Starbucks Passport, and their stupid new Passport comes with more restrictions and a bigger price tag. BOOO. But I guess I can just buy the cheaper Passport, since I usually just drink Caramel Macchiato anyway (yum yum).
Speaking of price tags, I was at Hugo Boss today because Daniel claimed that there was apparently a sale going on and somehow to him a shirt that's originally priced at around $300 going at a 50% discount is actually a CHEAP buy so he insisted going there..and even tried this hideous polo tee that was going for like $100 plus AFTER discount. I just don't get it, I guess. Like he would have taken a second look at that tee had it not had "HUGE BOSS" elegantly printed on the top left chest. Don't take me wrong--I have nothing against branded things as long as it's actually worth every cent! Like like Tze's Demier Graphite will probably last him for like a million years and he probably can sell it for a er vintage price or something a few years later. Good investment! But no one buys second-hand polo tees that were in fashion 10 years ago! It's just wrong!
Bird and I (okay mostly Bird because I finished mine yesterday and was too lazy to write new ones--sorry friends!) finished up all the cards that were to be mailed and mailed them--in ORCHARD! I never really knew where the Postbox was and it turned out that this little snailmail machine was tucked at a lonely corner of Wisma, beside the Taxistands!
Oh and we met SO MANY people in town! Random RJ people that I recognise by face but not personally, Amelia and her friend whose face I didn't manage to see and Zhengpei! It's really pretty fun and I guess everyone's just out shopping in this festive season?
Had dinner at Burger Shack with Tze and Lau. At first we were seriously fretting over a good place to eat yummy food at good prices, and somewhere the boys can talk about poker and DoTA (which they did) and I was being so stressed up finding a good place which doesn't compromise ambience for price and luckily Tze thought of Burger Shack! :D Happinessss
And.. I think I may be changing my blog to good ole Blogger soon because Xanga's getting boring and I think I have come to a point where I can leave this place behind. Yes, indeed it's a place where I keep my thoughts and memories but people move on and grow up--so do I. I kind of want a fresh look, a new style, a place where perhaps friends will be given code names instead just for the fun of it (and of course for a certain degree of privacy). Also, a plus point is that I believe Nuffnang will work soooo much better on Blogger too. So yup, if this decision lasts till after Christmas, it may just come true! Maybe.. Then I can like create sensible and cute tags instead of the boring lame-o ones that I have now and perhaps an 'About Me' section, with a much much nicer (hopefully) blogskin which won't drive me crazy.
okay now I need to zzz

| (: Life has been good so far, not counting that fact that I still haven't met my supervisor due to reason which I felt could have been avoided but apparently wasn't. Though I know it's not exactly my fault, I guess I was slightly stubborn in some ways to. I told my mum about issue and she insisted that it was an issue of formality, and not because of laziness. :/ oh and I have to go for the STAFF MEETING on 30th December, as requested by someone presumably very strict. I find that intimidating--meeting the WHOLE staff body without a proper orientation to the school--how very comforting.
Other than that I guess I'm having quite a bit of fun! Right after the end of our seemingly endless torture (the A Levels), the girls in my class headed down to Ion to eat and I went to meet Bird at Fareast later now. She was settling her dress (doing alterations to make it more interesting) and needed a clutch, while I was just excited to shop guilt-free and was looking for my earrings. Oh and it was really funny 'cause Daniel wanted to meet up with us and texted me saying that "he's reaching" and we just shopped around waiting for him, for like FOREVER. In the end it turned out that he was waiting for us at some escalator, busy playing Bejeweled while we were somewhere else waiting for him! Oh and he bought us icecream which was really really yummy (and expensive, but since he's treating, we're not complaining). It was really nice just sitting at Ion, licking icecream and talking about the old days and the future--but somehow the present is like blank, empty; to be filled with senseless money spending and endless anime watching.. and for some, it's just time to get their liver killed. Daniel said something like, "Hey, we must always remember this okay?" and Bird just gave him a really clueless look. Haha, those are my friends.
Oh and for prom, I finally got over the "omg why do I look so ugly" phase and just more or less came to terms with it. It definitely wasn't worth my money, but I think I would rather have suffer, complained and went through it than look glam and fabulous (rare) and not have went to prom. Ironic indeed.
Thailand was really really fun! But all the pictures are with Tze, and he's trying to upload them now. Apparently there were too many and it's majorly lagging his computer. Ah I'll just have to wait!
Recently I watched this super disturbing and screwed up anime called School Days. The basic storyline (spoiler alert!) is this Guy who crushes this Girl and he successfuly got together with the Girl (now called the GF) with the help of a female Classmate. However he soon realised that he had fallen in love with the female Classmate as well. Seems like a very typical love triangle? Nope. I guess it was due to crazy raging hormones of some sort, the Guy started hooking up with not only the Classmate, but also other girls who showed interest in him--all behind the GF's back. The super weird GF, instead of being angry and breaking up with him when she found out, merely pretended that these incidents were not important and continued being "the perfect girlfriend" despite being constantly neglected. Finally, the situation has evolved to a state such that the Guy broke up with the GF, got together with the Classmate and continued fooling around. The final straw came when the Classmate not only found out about the "affairs" he was having, but also the fact that she was pregnant. This freaked the Guy out and he began realising his mistakes. That's when the GF (now ex actually) returned back to the picture, all willing to receive the Guy back with open arms, and even offered the Classmate a paid abortion to settle issues. Instead of going to the doctor, the Classmate arranged to meet the Guy (at his house) to talk. While making tea, the Classmate got really emotional and basically stabbed the Guy to death. (ew) The GF then killed the Classmate when she found out--and cut open her stomach (womb actually) to check whether she was really expecting. It turned out that it was all a line. The ending scene was the GF HUGGING the Guy's head in her arms--she was lying in her private yacht that's floating into the sunset.
I actually liked the ending--not because it was gorey but because it was interesting. Yijie thought it was pretty lame but to me it's better than a normal, boring ending of the guy coming back to his sense and beg for forgiveness or something of that sort. But, disturbing all the same.
Ah okay back to cleaning my room!

| I'm finally home! And I miss Bangkok already D: (okay actually I just miss Suan Lum, the night market of awesomeness) I was complaining to my mum that I didn't buy enough at SL because it was the first day and I was slightly unsure of the prices etc--then did my mum tell me one piece of advice that would have made me considerably happier had I known it PRIOR to the trip: which is to never hestitate and wait when you want to buy something overseas because it's highly unlikely that you will go back there again.
Tze can't help but roll his eyes furiously whenever i comment that i should have bought more this and thats because I've already bought a lot of stuff (which is er true). I guess I'm those kind of people who will go shopping but not end up buying much (in Singapore anyway), so this is probably the first time EVER that I bought so many things that I'm terribly terribly satisfied with :3 am happy.
It's so amusing to record down the things I buy because the amount is slightly intimidating for a 4 day 3 night trip, haha:
3 working tops 2 tees 2 skirts 1 working skirt 2 working pants 6 pairs of ear studs 15 hp/key chains 4 or 5 DVDs 1 belt 2 shorts 1 notebook 7 packs of chewing gum 2kg of GREEN rice 1 pair of flats 3 singlets (heineken, tiger and RED BULL) 1 pouch
well, I think that's about all.. not a lot right?
picture will be up soon (excited) once I get them from Tze's camera! And now I'll just be slowly waiting for my Cafe World rating to go back up to 105 and laze around somemore! :D

| Will be happily away for 5 days, from 12th to 16th. Hopefully I'll be back skinnier, with lots of goodies and not too broke. I really hope I can get to know Tze's parents better and more importantly, to let them know me better!
xoxo
